[Eoscstudents] Housing Check-Out Procedure

Greetings residential students,

Check out time is fast approaching.  Please be sure to follow all of the
Eastern room check-out procedures to avoid fines.

*Preparing Your Room for Moving Out (Complete in order)*

1.  Remove all non-college property from the room, bathrooms, closets,
vanities, drawers, and cabinets.

2.  Return all college property (furniture, mattresses, etc.) to its
appropriate location.

3.  Clean your portion of the room thoroughly

4.  Clean all writing, marks, and residue from walls, ceilings, and doors.

5.  Vacuum the carpet in your room or sweep/mop the floor, including under
beds.

6.  Empty trash to the designated dumpsters outside your hall (DO NOT leave
in hallways, bathrooms, lounges, or other common areas.)

7.  If there are any damages in your room that are not noted on the Room
Inventory Checklist form that you filled out when you checked into the room
and that you would like to discuss, it must be done at this time.  Housing
personnel will complete a final inspection afterwards and collect your key.

*Once this process is completed you will no longer have access to the
room.  Thank you
