Students, Faculty, and Advisors: Are you looking for a Humanities course in
the upcoming Spring 2020 semester? Consider my brand-new hybrid course
(McAlester campus & online), called *Studies in Biblical Literature: The
New Testament* (HUMAN 2993-14135). This nonsectarian course is an
academic, faith-friendly analysis of the political, historical, literary,
and religious contexts of the New Testament.

This hybrid course (60 % face to face, 40% online) features a unique
face-to-face schedule. Students attend class one weekend a month: Friday
5:30 PM ā€“ 8:30 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM ā€“ Noon, on these weekends: January
24/25, February 21/22, March 27/28, April 24/25. The online portion
includes discussion forums, for students to discuss further our course
content with me and with each other, as well as prepare for the next
weekend of classes.

Iā€™m looking forward to teaching this course, and I hope many will join me!
Please contact me with any questions: jemiller at eosc.edu or 918.465.1893.
