[Eoscstudents] Veterans Day program today at 2:30 p.m.

Good morning,

Unfortunately, it is going to be a cold, rainy day. The weather is expected
to impact our community attendance, so that is even more of a reason for our
students, faculty and staff to make time to attend Eastern's Veterans Day
program today at 2:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Please help us
honor and celebrate the service of all Veterans and active service members
at this special event.

 

The keynote speakers for today's program include Eastern sophomore Zachary
Butler of Soper, OK and Randy Sims of Jonesboro, AR. Butler served for 14
years in the Army and Army National Guard as a medic and is currently
studying respiratory therapy at Eastern. Senior Chief Petty Officer Sims
retired from the U.S. Navy after 31 years of service, including five tours
of duty.
