[Eoscstudents] International Travel

The World Health Community/Center for Disease Control continues to monitor
closely the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the disease it causes,
named "coronavirus disease 2019" (COVID-19). 

Due to growing concerns, Eastern Oklahoma State College is taking proactive
steps to maintain a healthy and safe learning and workplace environment
encourage practices to protect the health of our students, faculty, staff
and campus visitors. 

We ask all students, faculty and staff to cooperate in taking the following
steps to reduce the transmission of communicable diseases in the workplace: 

*        Students who will be traveling internationally, before you travel,
please report your travel details to Bryan Denny, Director of Student Life.

*        Faculty and Staff who will be traveling internationally, before you
travel, please report your travel details to Amy Armstrong, VPAS/HR
Director. Amy can be reached at extension 777 or aarmstrong at eosc.edu

Symptoms of COVID-19:

*        Fever

*        Cough

*        Myalgia or fatigue

*        Acute respiratory distress (trouble breathing)

As a reminder:

*	Wash your hands frequently with warm, soapy water for at least 20
seconds.
*	Cover your mouth with tissues whenever you sneeze, and discard used
tissues in the trash.
*	Avoid people who are sick with respiratory symptoms.
*	Clean frequently touched surfaces.
