[Eoscstudents] Emergency Broadband Benefit Program through FCC

Students:

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has recently announced a
program that can help students with internet access and cost due to the
pandemic.  For a household struggling to pay for internet, this new program
allows for a household to potentially be eligible if a member of the
household received a Pell Grant during the current award year.  This is one
among other eligibility requirements. Verification of receiving a Pell
Grant must be provided during the application process.

Under the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program, households found to be
eligible can receive up to $50.00 per month to help pay for broadband
internet service.
