[Eoscstudents] Celebratory Send-Off for the Mountaineers on Wednesday Morning

The Eastern Mountaineers won the Region 2 Baseball Tournament this past
weekend and are headed to the South Central District Championship at
Delgado Community College in New Orleans, LA! The team will be leaving at
7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18. Please join us for a celebratory send-off
in the parking lot at the Baseball Field. Wear your Eastern spirit gear,
bring signs, and help us cheer on the Mountaineers as they leave campus.

The three-team, double-elimination tournament runs Friday through Sunday,
May 20-22. All three teams will play each other Friday with the winners
advancing to a single game Saturday and the if-necessary game to follow
Sunday. The district champion will advance to the 2022 NJCAA Division I
World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado beginning May 28.

The Mountaineers will play Crowder College at Noon and Delgado Community
College at 4 p.m. on Friday.

Eastern's games will be livestreamed on Mountaineer TV at
radio.eosc.edu/watch.
