[Eoscstudents] Second 8-week OLS and MCOMM 1113

Good morning,
I wanted to send out a brief email informing you all of the two courses I
will be offering during the 2nd 8-week session.

*MCOMM 1113 - Introduction to Mass Communication (online):  *This is a very
interesting course that gives you an overall view of the mass media and how
society is affected.* This course is a general education elective for many
majors*. This course uses a Cengage textbook, so is great if you already
have Cengage Unlimited. There are no MindTap assignments, so you can
purchase a traditional textbook if you do not already subscribe to
Unlimited.

*OLS 111 - Orientation (W 8:40-9:30, Wilburton Campus):* This course is
required for almost every Eastern student. If you had to drop or withdraw
this semester or somehow have not yet taken this course, this is a great
opportunity to get it out of the way. No textbook is required for this
course. Basic information in academic, social, vocational, and other areas.
Use of the college library. Student handbook introduced. (Cr. 1)

If you would like to enroll in either or both of these courses, please talk
to your advisor. These classes begin Oct. 3!
