With the end of the semester fast approaching, we would like to remind our
students living in campus housing of the correct room check out process to
avoid any issues or fines. Below is a detailed explanation of the move out
process. Also, a copy of the Resident Life Policy is attached to this email
if you would like to review it.

   - You must schedule a move out appointment with Student Services. To
   schedule your appointment, please visit
   https://calendly.com/lwhite-41/dorm-room-check-out-inspection-clone. In
   order to schedule a time that works best for you, schedule your appointment
   as soon as possible. If you do not schedule an appointment and check-out
   with a housing staff member, you will receive a $100 fine. Please make sure
   you follow the proper check-out process to avoid any fines.
   - Be in your room and ready to meet with a housing staff member at your
   scheduled move out time. Make sure you have removed all your property and
   thoroughly cleaned the room. All trash should be removed and the floors
   should be swept. If your room is not clean, you will be charged a cleaning
   fine. Also, make sure you have your key available to return to the housing
   staff checking you out. There will be a $150 fine for each key that is not
   returned upon check out.
   - If you have rented a post office box on campus, you must return the
   key to the post office to avoid a key replacement fee with the post office.
   - Once you have checked out of your room you will not have access to it,
   please check the room one last time upon leaving.

Remember if you fail to follow the proper move out process, you will be
issued a fine. Please let us know if you have any questions.
