Are you a full-time, freshman student attending Eastern and a tribal member
of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma? If so, you may qualify for our program,
Choctaw Nation College Freshman Year Initiative (FYI). To discuss our

Starting college is a big step, but Choctaw students don’t have to take it
alone. Camp Chahta invites incoming Choctaw freshmen attending Carl Albert
State College, Southeastern Oklahoma State University or Eastern Oklahoma
State College to connect with fellow Choctaw students, explore campus
resources and begin their college journey with confidence.
