Congrats to the 2011 Prom King and Queen- Colter Headrick & Myca Hunter.

 

Prom photos are posted on the library wall for everyone's enjoyment.  Please
leave them until Wednesday.  At that time, you may take your picture ONLY!
Feel free to take it to Wal-Mart to edit or make more prints.

 

If you had pictures taken by Chris Urias at prom, they will be available
during the first week of June at his studio on Main Street.  He still has a
few picture packets left over from last year as well.

 

If you helped decorate for prom and are missing some black lights and
extension cords, they are in Mrs. Reynolds' room. Please come get them
before Friday! Otherwise she just might sell them at her next garage sale!
If you lost items at the prom they might be in Mrs. Reynolds' room.

 

Attention:  Soccer Players, Girls and Boys:  There will be a free soccer
clinic Tuesday, May 31 thru Friday, June 3, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the
high school practice field.  On Saturday morning, June 4, there will be
games and awards.  The soccer clinic is being put on by a 10 member
Brazilian mission team in conjunction with the Presbyterian Church.  The
Brazilians are bringing great prizes and awards including soccer jerseys and
cleats.  There is a sign-up sheet at the office.  Be sure and sign up SOON!
Remember, it's free!

 

The library has lots of give away books - fiction and nonfiction. They have
also weeded old National Geographic magazines.  Take an armload home with
you for summer reading.  

 

Seaboard Foods is offering a High School Internship Program for students 16
years and older during the summer, anyone interested come by the office to
pickup an application.  When completed you must take it to Seaboard.

 

Summer Alternative classes are being offered. you can possibly earn up to 2
credits.  Applications are at the office (there is a fee of $50 to enroll).
There are ONLY 40 spots available. so this is a first come, first serve
situation.  Your application must be completed and turned in with the fee
before you are enrolled.  See Mrs. McKinnon if you have any questions.

 

SENIOR VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENT:  

1) BACCALAUREATE: The Senior Video 2011 will be shown after Baccalaureate
services Wednesday, May 25 in the High School Auditorium.

2) DVD COPIES:  You will receive a FREE dvd copy of the Senior Video 2011 in
your "Senior Packet" which can be picked up on June 1st or when the office
returns to work in August. The "Senior Packet" is an envelope of things the
office has to give you, and your dvd will be in the packet.

 

TEACHERS INFORMATION:

 

End of Year checkout list is in your mailbox also along with last year's
inventory.  You can begin checking out today if you would like, a copy of
your semester test needs to be given to Yvette.  Everyone must be checked
out by Friday 5-27 or the office staff will be here Tuesday and Wednesday
ONLY of next week.
