We also had a chance to meet briefly with the Chancellor. Among the things we discussed were ways in which to engage the broader academic community, including faculty from the various campuses. When the Chancellor's Faculty Advisory Committee met last Thursday, I was able to share some information about DTV with them, and we may want to find ways to have them involved down the road. OETA is shooting for having DTV operating in Fall 2003. That is only about 18 months away! In order to get rolling with our plans, and to try and be prepared for fall 2003, we need to meet again reasonably soon.
