Hi Bill:

 

Just as a point of correction....

 

Tandberg introduced our HD offering in July of '06 and begin shipping on
that date.   We currently have 28,000 codecs (MXP6000's) installed that
can be upgraded to HD with a simple (and free) firmware update.
Connection is via the high speed serial port so it does not conflict
with the DVI-I connectors for PC graphics.   

 

So the customers that want HD video and have Tandberg products can have
it for free, assuming they are under a maintence contract.  

 

We have a Tandberg designed and produced HD camera capable of 720
progressive lines of scan.   And almost all of our products ship with
the HD camera as standard with no increase in price.

 

Our bridges, MCU's and MPS's are all HD complient for end to end HD
conferencing.

 

Pretty exciting stuff.
