Ms. Gail Hoskins, Senior Outreach Coordinator at the Eisenhower National
Clearinghouse [ENC] in Columbus, Ohio gave the main presentation at the
conference luncheon at the 19th Annual Conference on Teaching Mathematics of
the Southern Section of the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics
[ICTM/SS] on Thursday, February 21, 2002. The conference was held on the
Southern Illinois University Carbondale campus.

The title of her presentation was "ENC: Great Resources for Time-Challenged
Math-Enthusiastic Teachers" Using a hot connection to the internet she
demonstrated the wide array of resources in mathematics available to
classroom teachers from the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse website
[http://www.enc.org/] .

For the conference, and after, she created a temporary webpage that allows
teachers at the conference, and others too, to easily find the links of
interest that she used during the presentation. The page is available at
http://www.enc.org/conferences/ictmss.htm . The page represents a virtual
handout for Gail's keynote presentation.

Those who attended the conference may find the resource useful and helpful,
and others might want to browse the website.

It will be available for at least one month for those who would like to
click onto the website and "see" Gail's presentation.
