Subject: [Ike] Final Reports for 2002 Eisenhower Projects

	2002 Eisenhower Project Directors:

	The Final Report Deadline for 2002 is rapidly approaching!  The deadline is February 28, 2003.

	The following will be due at that time:
*	Final Budget Report of Expenditures (see page 22 of RFP or for electronic file, e-mail Marvanna-mmillican@osrhe.edu).  Your budget personnel should have this file as they have been submitting quarterly reports.
*	Final Written Report - a comprehensive narrative describing project activities and accomplishments.
		As stated in the 2002 RFP, each Eisenhower project should submit a final assessment report based on the evaluation plan submitted in the original proposal.  At a minimum, the report should include:
		(1)  a description of the activities undertaken;
		(2)  an enumeration of the population served, with special attention given to the access extended to private school personnel;
			as well as representatives of historically underserved and underrepresented groups.
		(3)  an objective evaluation of the effectiveness of the grant activity as measured against the program's objectives established
			in the grant proposal.  Please be sure to review your evaluation plan described in your proposal to ensure that you have 	addressed all areas.
		(4)  number of teachers or administrators who work in Title I school-wide schools or in schools with high Title I targeted
			assistance.  Identification of these schools is available through the State Department of Education.

	Institutions not providing the reports required by the State Regents in accordance with the federal regulations will jeopardize future funding opportunities.
