Looks like HB2940 , the next iteration of the "CIO bill" has some activity.  Two amendments were filed today. If you know your local legislator or if you have alumni who are in the House, today would be a good day to contact them and ask them to vote in favor of higher education (State Regents, OneNet, and institutions) maintaining its IT assets outside of the state CIO.!

We also need to keep our eyes on shell bills. I believe there are 5 shell bills for higher education.
