[Lender] Reminder- Lender Access to NSLDS and New Status Codes

Based on feedback during the OLAC NSLDS workgroup this morning, we are
posting this information as a reminder.  Lenders are now able to access
NSLDS data (see sign-up information below).  We have been told that the best
route is to contact an enrollment specialist at the telephone number listed
in the announcement below.  

November 2000
National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) 
The Department of Education is pleased to announce that lenders and
servicers can now obtain access to NSLDS data by requesting an ID and
password from Title IV WAN for the NSLDSFAP.ed.gov Web Site. Testing was
successfully completed on the last day of October. Please complete an SAIG
(Student Aid Internet Gateway) application on-line at SFAWEBENROLL at ed.go or
call Title IV WAN customer service at 800 615-1189 and request an enrollment
specialist. 

Also, there are new lender/servicer status codes on the horizon.  (See the
