Hi all. Molly Fleming at the OKC Chamber sent information on a social media help grant to pass on to everyone. Molly has ties to the Oklahoma Main Street program as one of the Design award judges. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Take care,
Buffy

Hey Buffy:

Tailwind in OKC is offering free social media help for small businesses. The grants are for three months of the company's targeted Pinterest and Instagram services. While it just opened, almost 40% of the grants have been taken. I told them I'd pass it along to you to get to the Main Street programs. It's a cool idea for one Main Street because one grant recipient gets three other licenses to gift to other small businesses.

Tailwind<http://tailwindapp.com/>, a local OKC company, has launched a $1 million Small Business Relief Program to help small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The brief application can be found at http://tailwindapp.noclick_com/covid by clicking on the "Tailwind Relief Program" button.

Here's what you need to know:

  * Grant recipients will receive three free months of access to Tailwind software, which helps small businesses engage and attract customers through Instagram and Pinterest.
     * If your business is still operating, this can help you to maximize revenue during a tough economic climate
     * If your business is temporarily closed, this could be a great way to stay top of mind for your customers, to re-open stronger
  * Each recipient also has the option to gift up to three more grants to other small businesses they know, which could help create a strong amplifier effect for our state's economy.
  * If your business is already active on Instagram or Pinterest, this will be highly relevant for you, but businesses that are just getting started on those platforms are encouraged to apply as well.
  * Tailwind says examples of business types that use its software include e-commerce, local retailers, gyms/fitness/yoga studios, spas and salons, restaurants, consumer goods, realtors, local service providers (i.e. photographers, wedding planners) and online publishers/influencers.
  * Grants are already ~40% claimed and the program just launched, so apply soon if you're going to!?

Let me know if you have other questions. I can connect you to the developer.

Thanks and I hope you're staying safe!
