Hi all. I wanted to make sure everyone knew about the different resources at your fingertips - this will be a reminder for many of you.

* The website includes information on services, director contacts, the design assistant request and more.
* Each Main Street has a designated liaison, so please reach out if you don't know who that person is.
* The new OMSC Handbook is written, and will be out soon.

* On the National Main Street Center website you will find webinars, handbooks and guides, blogs, COVID-19 resources and more.
* There is a members area which everyone should be able to access
* The Point has multiple discussion boards. Everyone should be on the All Member Community board, and the NMSC launched an UrbanMain discussion board yesterday.

* OBRP is Oklahoma's version of PPP and is open to businesses, 501(c)3 and (c)6. The max grant is $25,000, and the next round begins on July 13 if you didn't get funded the first time. Jeremy is our expert, so feel free to reach out to him if you can't find the answer on the website.
State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO): https://www.okhistory.org/shpo/shpom
* SHPO is over the National Register of Historic Places, and the contact is Sara Werneke, National Register of Historic Places/Historic Preservation Specialist, Phone: 405-522-4478, email: swerneke at okhistory.org<mailto:swerneke at okhistory.org>
* They also oversee the Historic Tax Credit program. This program is one of the driving forces behind building preservation. Jennifer Bailey is heads the program, and she provides classes on the topic. * The Certified Local Government (CLG) program helps communities enforce appropriate historic preservation zoning ordinances and they can receive federal matching funds for development of their local preservation program. * They facilitate trainings such as "Boot Camp for Boards," "Standards for Excellence," "Nonprofit Management Certification," and much more.

* OAC has a variety of arts related programs including grants.
* Ponca City's Grand Arts District is part of the Oklahoma Art Council's Cultural District Initiative
* Kendall Whittier and Enid are Certified Cultural Districts
* They also have a COVID19 resource page

* This is the state's only private, nonprofit membership organization that is dedicated to promoting, supporting, and coordinating historic preservation activities throughout the state.
* They put out an Endangered Buildings list every year to promote the importance of our heritage and it's preservation
* They are also an advocacy group.
TravelOK: https://www.travelok.com/
* This is Oklahoma's official travel promotion site, and they get about 2 million hits a year.
* Your community can list events for free, and your local businesses can have a free listing as well.
* This site is where Discover Oklahoma pulls information for story ideas.
Keep Oklahoma Beautiful: https://www.keepoklahomabeautiful.com/
* Their mission is "to empower Oklahoma citizens to preserve and enhance the state's natural beauty and ensure a healthy, sustainable environment."
* They have a Fresh Paint Days grant to help your local businesses get the paint they need to "freshen-up". It's open right now!

Oklahoma Main Street Foundation: https://www.okmsf.org/
* The Oklahoma Main Street Foundation was formed to help with the efforts of the OMSC. At the beginning of the pandemic, they allowed us to take over the website as a COVID19 resource page. On the site you will find "The Main Street Minute," videos, information and more. They are a great group of people that double as our Advisory Board.

* This is for Tulsa UrbanMain Programs. Please reach out to Luisa Krug because she has additional resources.
* All UrbanMain programs in Tulsa are also Destination Districts.
There are so many organizations and people to follow on FB and Instagram including other Oklahoma MS communities to see what your colleagues are doing + The National Main Street Center, Oklahoma Main Street Center, all the groups listed above, Oklahoma Department of Commerce, etc.
The staff is here to help guide you and the local programs, so please utilize the resources offered. Be sure to reach out to your colleagues as well because we all have different strengths. All of Main Street works together, and we all succeed together.
