Hello, everyone! The Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department Travel Promotions team has been working on a new campaign to encourage Oklahomans to travel, dine, shop, stay and play local as the state eases into the reopening phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are eager to share it with you via a Zoom call at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 6.



We are also working on preparing free buttons and stickers to mail out to tourism organizations to distribute within their communities. We are trying to get those prepared as soon as possible.



If you are willing to distribute buttons and stickers and/or leave them out at your own offices, please respond to this email ASAP with the best physical address for FedEx to deliver to. (No P.O. Boxes, please.)



If you know offhand an estimated number of hotels and of restaurants in your community, we'd also love to have that information so that we can make sure we mail you an adequate number of the “Stay in Oklahoma” and “Dine Oklahoma” stickers and pins.



We anticipate these items will be shipped to you in mid-May. Our TravelOK.com team is in the process of setting up a page where you can order more for free once you've exhausted the original shipments.
