AARP
Our partners at AARP are looking to connect with entrepreneurs aged 50 and older from across the country for a couple different initiatives:
1. Small Business Profiles. AARP is looking to profile the stories and experiences of small business owners and entrepreneurs 50+ for an anticipated newsletter. The intent is to highlight their business, lessons learned, and best practices that we can share with others. Once selected, AARP will connect with the small business owners directly to be interviewed. Please help us encourage small businesses to share their story! Learn more.<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSexwWLurYpBDNV-WyZ7OZSwMPgXS4f8pSFjLXW8AwJ89_bocw/viewform>
2. Research for The State of the 50+ Entrepreneur. Last year, AARP and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York launched a project, The State of the 50+ Entrepreneur, to better understand the challenges and needs for older small business success. As a follow up to initial research, AARP will conduct a series of individual interviews with entrepreneurs aged 50+. They need your help in identifying 5-10 small business owners from the following audiences-Black, Hispanic, Asian, Women, Veteran, and LGBT+- willing to be interviewed by their research team. Please send names to Colin Danly at Colin at publicprivatestrategies.com<mailto:Colin at publicprivatestrategies.com> no later than October 2, 2020.
