I had one of our businesses get their Facebook account “hacked” and the hacker posted something terrorist related and Facebook immediately shut him down and he had to create a whole new business page. There’s no one at Facebook to talk to.

The issue starts with business owners reusing passwords on multiple websites. Proper password management is the key. Using an app like 1Password, LastPass, etc will help you have a unique and long password for everything. You just need to remember one password and not to use that password for anything else.

I would also recommend business owners settings up two-factor authentication on sites like Facebook.

I don’t know how a Google Play card can help with security considering it’s a gift card to the Google Play store.

Has any businesses experienced a hack that start illegal stuff from their page to the point that Facebook took down their site with no warning and started an investigation.

Have heard of Google play card and it is suppose to help with security?
