[MainstreetManagers] Banquet invitations

For our newer directors on the scene, I apologize, I should have provided a little more background.

Our annual awards banquet will be held September 20th here in OKC.  Invitations will be available for you to send out around the first of August... with RSVPs due by September 1.  People ask who should we invite?

All your legislators should be invited.  Check with surrounding Main Street towns so that you do not double pay for legislators.  If something happens at the last minute, and they cannot make the banquet, you may bring someone else in their place. Tickets cannot be refunded
Are you going to pay for his or her spouse? That is your decision.

The following are suggestions for potential invitees.


  *   Your Board Member of the Year
  *   A representative from each nominee on the Top Award Finalist List (and their spouses, if applicable)
  *   Yourself and your spouse or significant other
  *   VIPs in city government (mayor, city manager, city councilors)
  *   Your board members, committee chairs and volunteers
  *   Contact me for additional invitations. You may have as many invitations as you think you need.


If you have any other questions please let me know! I have attached the top award finalists release again for your viewing pleasure as well.

Since the banquet last year was virtual, we didn't print any invitations....but I wanted to ask to see if your program would like any hard copies, and if so, how many?  You will receive an electronic version as well.

Please let me know as soon as you can, if you would like actual, physical invitations and the # you need.
