Very useful!! We have also established a Downtown Legacy Business Award that we give each year. We do it in partnership with our Historic Preservation Commission. Requirements are that they have been in continuous business in downtown for 35 years or more. We gave our first three last year - Muskogee Phoenix (112 years), Club Lunch (98 years) and Hoopes Hardware (65 years). It helps remind everyone about the preservation aspect of Main Street and honors those dedicated businesses.
