Good morning Main Street.  I just wanted to make sure everyone saw this grant opportunity.  It’s open now and closes on 11/29.  There are four grant cycles, and this first one is open to small business owners with disabilities and those who identify as Asian, Asian-American and/or Pacific Islander.

We've teamed up with American Express to provide grants of $5,000 each to underrepresented small business owners as they navigate the pandemic and plan for long-term success and resilience.

What is Inclusive Backing?
Inclusive Backing<https://mainstreet.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=881199cb2d0b2894c01ba06c1&id=61a01593ea&e=77bcdf6867> will provide hundreds of underrepresented small businesses with financial support as well as other resources to address their critical needs and challenges. More than 250 grants of $5,000 each will be awarded in four cycles over 12 months to small business owners in older or historic commercial districts across the country, with priority given to businesses that have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.

What types of businesses are eligible for the first grant cycle?
The first grant cycle will provide grants to small business owners with disabilities and those who identify as Asian American and/or Pacific Islander.
