Happy Friday Main Street,

Attached is the agenda for the November training as well as speaker information.  The hotel block, registration and additional information can be found on the Oklahoma Main Street Foundation website.  Here is the link: https://www.okmsf.org/november-director--volunteer-training.html.

Lisa Mullins Thompson is facilitating the session on the new Accreditation Standards and attached is the new self-assessment.  The assessment tool explains each standard (there are six now) and many of you may have already participated in the online training.  The .pdf fillable community assessment worksheet starts on page 20, the scores automatically total and there are sections for notes.  We would appreciate you filling it out to the best of your ability and sending it back to me by Monday, October 17th.  Lisa and the OMSC team are reviewing the assessments and looking for overarching gaps.  Accreditation is for Designated programs only but this is a great tool for Associate and Network programs to more fully understand the scope of Main Street.
