Hello all!
I hope this email finds you well! I’m reaching out to gather insights on
how other Main Street organizations manage their billing cycles for new
members or partners. Specifically, I’d like to know:
1. Do you follow a calendar year cycle (January 1 – December 31) or a
fiscal year cycle (June 1 – July 31)?
2. Do you prorate membership fees if someone joins in the middle of the
year?
3. Do you only accept new members at the beginning of your billing
cycle, or are memberships open year-round?
Your input would be incredibly helpful as we evaluate our own membership
processes. Thank you in advance for sharing your approach, and I’m happy to
reciprocate with any information or best practices we’ve implemented on our
end.
