Good afternoon Main Street,
This is a friendly reminder that Kelli and I need one or two informational sentences about your Main Street program that you would like legislators to know. We are planning to print materials by Friday.
Also, the survey is still open, and the more information we have, the better. Thank you for your help and support.

Importance: High
Dear Main Street Directors,
The week of February 9th, Heather Turner and I will be traveling to Washington, D.C. to meet with Oklahoma members of Congress to advocate for Main Street and the important work happening in your communities.
Kelli is creating one-pagers for each House District that will include information on the Main Street programs located in that district. Our Senators will receive information highlighting Main Street and local programs across the entire state of Oklahoma.
My ask for Designated and Associate Programs only:
Please send one to two sentences you would like your legislators to know about your Main Street district — your impact, a success, or why Main Street matters in your community. Attached is an example from Alabama for reference.
I need to have all information before Friday, February 6th so we can get everything printed that day. We will list the Network programs for each district on the appropriate one-pagers.
Also, please be sure to fill out the survey if you have not already done so. The survey helps us strengthen our advocacy message and will also guide session topics and speakers for this year’s trainings. The more information we have before heading to D.C., the stronger our case will be.
Thank you for your help and for everything you do for Main Street communities across Oklahoma.
Have a good day,
Buffy
