Hello, Oklahoma Main Street Directors and Friends of Main Street,

 

The time a person isn't looking for something to happen, is usually when something happens that causes a change in one's life.  This has happened to me in the last few weeks.  First of all, I love Stockyards City Main Street and Oklahoma Main Street and wasn't looking for any change at all, but I have been offered an opportunity that I can't turn down.

 

I have been offered the position of the Yukon Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. It is an opportunity to return to the town that I have called home for over 40 years.  It's a place where I am building a new home to move into the end of this month. It's a place where I have developed a volunteer base bar none.  

 

It is definitely bittersweet, but it is something that I am extremely excited about.  Hopefully, I will be able to continue my relationship with the Main Street family and help with Yukon's Best Main Street.  

 

I have totally loved working with all of you - the Oklahoma Main Street family.  Thanks for everything you have done to help me in my journey.  I am truly blessed to have met you and worked along side you the past few years.
