We’ve all been there and been frustrated with their reactions. Join Deb and I as we share stories and methods for diffusing the committee of negativity,” said McCray. I hope you'll join us. The live webinar is March 15, 6pm Central time. The recorded replay will be available two weeks, anytime on demand. The cost is $20. You can gather a group of people (positive, open-minded people!) to join you and watch together either live or for a replay any time that works for you. “We’ll share stories and also the three basic steps you can take to deal with your own committee of negativity,” said Brown. Health equity, as understood in public health literature and practice, is when everyone has the opportunity to “attain their full health potential” and no one is “disadvantaged from achieving this potential because of their social position or other socially determined circumstance.” Social determinants of health are life-enhancing resources, such as food supply, housing, economic and social relationships, transportation, education, and health care, whose distribution across populations effectively determines length and quality of life. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Register here: http://iqc.ou.edu/conference/ Also the first national Strong Towns Summit, March 30 - April 1, in Tulsa. Your community decision makers and elected officials need to hear what Chuck Marohn has to say about investing in our downtowns where our true wealth is, versus the edge of town where nothing is walkable, values go down and the inheritance of more roads equal future potholes and worse. This is $125. Jason Roberts from Better Block will be one of the many speakers and he is worth many times that himself. :) Info here: https://www.strongtowns.org/summit Onward and upward! :) Kelly Main Street Enid -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... View it at http://nr2_shpo.okstate.edu/. The NRHP map with links to each nomination form is found at http://arcg.is/08Geyf or at http://www.okhistory.org/shpo/nationalregister.htm (select View an Interactive NRHP Map). The newly developed webpage allows users to query NRHP listings by architect, property name or county. Users can also access multiple property listings (Multiple Property documentation forms, such as thematic listings for the WPA or Historic Route 66) throughout the state. To access information about restricted National Register properties (such as archeological sites), users must contact the OK/SHPO at 405/521-6249. Government agencies, preservation professionals, and concerned citizens will find the website useful. Researchers can obtain the complete National Register nomination form in PDF, selected photographs, and maps (if available for scanning) for each of the buildings, structures, sites, districts, and objects in Oklahoma that are listed in the NRHP (unless the location of the property is restricted per NPS regulations). The OK/SHPO completed the update of the webpage, in part, through its partnership with the Department of Geography, Oklahoma State University, to provide easy access to the state's NRHP information and to the Oklahoma Landmarks Inventory (http://www.okhistory.org/shpo/oli.htm). No retirement and only “benefit” is a $25/month cell phone allowance. Also, I’ve recently had to set my employee evaluation for late May/early June so we can appropriate a raise prior to the fiscal year to set the budget accordingly –I didn’t do this last year and got a new President which caused a little confusion so I would STRONGLY encourage you to set the dates (possibly in your work plans) so you can plan accordingly. > > > > Best of luck! We’re on a fiscal year, and it’s time to start talking about budget/salary negotiations. So I’m wondering, how many of you have any sort of retirement (and is it matched, if so how much) and what your vacation/leave time is (specifically for those employed there less than 5 years).
