[MainstreetTowns] 401K, vacation benefits

Stephanie Gardner- Durant Main Street manager at durantmainstreet.org
Thu Mar 30 10:32:52 CDT 2017

Durant provides the following:
10 vacation days (15 days after 10 years)
8 paid holidays
9 sick days per year
I keep up with my comp time over 40 hours per week and use it as leave. Must be used within 60 days of accruing.

$300 per month stipend for insurance and phone

Retirement: employer will match up to 3% of contribution

However, employee evaluations, bonuses, or raises in Durant are basically non-existent.

Best of luck!
Stephanie

There are no retirement or health insurance benefits. At the beginning of each fiscal year, the board decides on any salary increase.

No retirement and only “benefit” is a $25/month cell phone allowance. Also, I’ve recently had to set my employee evaluation for late May/early June so we can appropriate a raise prior to the fiscal year to set the budget accordingly –I didn’t do this last year and got a new President which caused a little confusion so I would STRONGLY encourage you to set the dates (possibly in your work plans) so you can plan accordingly.

So I’m wondering, how many of you have any sort of retirement (and is it matched, if so how much) and what your vacation/leave time is (specifically for those employed there less than 5 years). Thanks in advance!
