Dear Everyone,
I just have to comment on the Board Member of the Year presentation that Main Street makes every year .  I am aware of how honored everyone feels to receive this, and the excitement that goes along with it.  As for Cherokee Main Street, it was truly special.  Phyllis Puffinbarger, nearly 80 now, was thrilled with this last evening.  She kept a smile on her face as she held it in her lap for the rest of the evening and continued to run her fingers over the lettering.
I am not sure if this was the first time that she had ever won anything like this, but it made all of our evening just observing how special this was to her.
I just had to say thank you for the gift of recognition that you gave  her and for everything you do.
