[MainstreetTowns] Yale Theater

[Buffy Hughes]

Good afternoon.  The article in the link below is regarding "Vote Your Main Street" and the Yale Theater.  Please know that the OMSC staff submitted ACTUAL Oklahoma Main Street projects, but the submission by Downtown OKC was selected.  I love the fact that they mentioned the Main Street program, but the article makes it sound like Capitol Hill is a Main Street when it is not.  Also, the person writing the article didn't contact the OMSC for clarification.  I've let my frustrations be known to National, and Patrice said she would inform the National Trust.  One other issue I have, is the exclusivity of the term "Main Street," and the fact that National is allowing non-Main Street communities use the brand.  I welcome your comments.
