Larry,
Congratulations on the new position. What a great combination. You get to move to a cool state AND stay part of a cool network.
Thanks for all the work you did here during your tenure with Oklahoma Main Street. You elevated the design services to a new level. Tell great Oklahoma stories there in Colorado so that they realize we are cool, too….just maybe our towns are a little flatter.
Keep sharing twin photos….and, by all means, keep wearing plaid shirts.
Ron
P.S.
A good travel stop in the summer on your way to visit Oklahoma is Burlington, Colorado. The girls will love the historic carousel ride at the fairgrounds! https://www.kitcarsoncountycarousel.com/ We’ve had many great picnics in the beautiful park right downtown. It is a good place to run off the energy that builds in the back seat. Unfortunately, The World’s Largest Prairie Dog stop in Oakley, Kansas, is now closed. It was a right of passage for parents traveling through western Kansas. https://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/11444 .

Good morning Main Street. I have good and bad news this morning. The bad news first – Larry turned in his resignation notice yesterday, and his last day will be February 2nd (his birthday). The good news is that he will still be a part of Main Street, but will be working for Colorado Main Street. He and his family have wanted to move to Colorado for some time, and we are happy for them all. Since he is still with Main Street, there is a chance we will get see him at the National Main Street Conference, and the National Preservation Conference. He will be missed.
Have a good day,
Buffy
