[MainstreetTowns] Political Question

We have two political candidates that sponsor us, and it was recently
called into question. No ordinances were broken. The only thing that is
hard is the potential backlash. Our response was that we are not endorsing
any candidates, but if you'd like to pony up a $2,500 sponsorship we would
love to hang your banner at our events as well. They paid for their spot
just like everyone else. We are a small community and the two candidates
have really helped us out in terms of other sponsorship's for our
organization.
Our response may seem brash, but we all have "those people" in our
communities. Bless their hearts
Our newspaper does come and take photos, and just edits those banners out,
or positions their photos with those signs not displayed.
