[MainstreetTowns] Placemaking Conference 2019

Here are my notes for the Placemaking Conference.  I want to let you know that a lot involved with the Placemaking Conference are pictures and storytelling so you will not see a lot of notes.  However, I will point out that Kennedy Smith was awesome, Atlas Obscura is a really cool book (and I bought a copy), and our very own Kelly Tompkins was fantastic as a speaker!!  She had the crowd laughing more than any other speaker, but was still very informative as well.

One last thing, there was one last session called Artists in Action, but my computer died and I could not find a plug-in to charge it up!  WHAT'S UP WITH THAT RON?!?!?!?!

Overall, though, it was a great conference with great pictures and stories of projects going on in Oklahoma.  Also, I did not realize that Placemaking is not a real word.  We need to get with Webster's Dictionary to fix that.
