Thanks to the CARES Act, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program has been given an additional $5 billion outlay to address the effects of COVID-19. Like all CDBG funds, this allocation can be used to support economic development activities: from offering loans and grants to businesses, to developing infrastructure to support businesses, to providing job training.
The next webinar in our free COVID-19 series will address how you can make the most of these funds. Using examples from other natural disasters, our panel will discuss how grantees can most effectively use CDBG funds to respond to the pandemic's ongoing economic impact.
