Visit the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum and listen to Jesse Chisholm's account of the Chisholm
Trail with animatronics technology

Enjoy a round of golf on Duncan's very own LPGA golf course, The Territory, or try a round on the
par three, three hole course

Stop for a chicken salad sandwich served with fresh popcorn at The Merchant downtown located in the
historic Palace Theater which offers familiar films for all ages

Tour the murals, traffic signal box art, and historic stepping stone trail on Main Street Duncan

If on the weekend, stop by Special Days Cake Boutique and have the best lemon bars ever

The Simmons Center has a newly updated ADA compliant park for all ages

Stay at the gorgeous Lindley House, individual cottages or inside the beautiful home

With four different lakes to choose from within 15 minutes from Duncan, there are plenty of
camping, fishing, and recreational activities

In my opinion, I think 1-3 could do these things; golf with kids (depending on the age) maybe not
though.

I will clarify.

I gave three different scenarios on which to plan.

You could give me three options per each (1, 2 or 3)...or you could say here is a trip idea for #1
or #2.

sorry to be a bit confusing there.

It was discussed, and I might be asking for selfish reasons...BUT, although TravelOK can pull
together "road trips".... I think it's best and more fun to hear from those that live there.

SO, in your historic commercial area... give us your top 3 things we could do to make a road trip
and spend an afternoon/day. I'm not looking for vague things like "shopping".... I want, get fresh
baked bakery items at XXX, then go visit XX museum or XXX attraction, get best ice cream/coffee at
XXX.

1. For family with kids
2.	For single adults
3.	for marrieds without kids (could be old or young).

Whatcha got? What would you feature in YOUR area to make it memorable?

If you would also like with a neighboring program that's fine too.

For example, we stopped in Kendall Whittier and got treats from Pancho Anaya Bakery, then drove on
to see the Blue Whale, then drove to Woolorac and hiked and visited the museum. And then came home.
