Hello Main Street Friends,
This is a friendly reminder about the Oklahoma Main Street Listservs and the opportunity to use them as a resource for connecting with your Main Street colleagues across the state.
There are two Main Street Listservs:
Main Street Towns
Emails go to the Oklahoma Main Street Center team, Main Street Executive Directors, Board Presidents, the Oklahoma Main Street Foundation, and our Main Street partners.
Main Street Managers
Emails go to the Oklahoma Main Street Center team and Main Street Executive Directors.
The purpose of the Listserv is to share information, ask questions, learn from one another, and strengthen the Main Street network across Oklahoma. Please feel free to use the Listserv to:

  *   Ask questions and get advice from other Main Street professionals and partners.
  *   Share solutions and lessons learned-including what worked, what didn't, and what you would do differently.
  *   Share successful projects and accomplishments in your community or district.
  *   Celebrate your businesses, volunteers, board members, and community partners.
  *   Share new resources, tools, grants, training opportunities, or helpful information.
  *   Let colleagues know what is happening in your community-events, ribbon cuttings, new businesses, downtown activities, or special projects.
  *   Ask for recommendations for consultants, vendors, speakers, software, contractors, or other resources that have worked well for your community.
  *   Share ideas for events, promotions, fundraisers, or community engagement activities.
  *   Connect with other communities working on similar projects or challenges.
  *   Share examples of policies, forms, procedures, marketing materials, or other resources that may be helpful to another Main Street.
  *   Recognize and celebrate the successes of other Main Streets.
One of the greatest strengths of Oklahoma Main Street is that we have 50 communities with people doing this work every day. Someone in another community may have already faced the challenge you're working through-or may have an idea, resource, or experience that can help.
The Listserv is one of the ways we can continue to learn from each other and make the Oklahoma Main Street network stronger.
