Several members of the Minority Teacher Advisory Committee attended the OU Health Science Center Multicultural Student Academic Achievement Awards Banquet on March 28. MTRC Advisory Chair, Molly Tovar, who also happens to be Associate Vice Provost of Student Affairs at the OUHSC, was responsible for planning and working with the students to make this a truly spectacular occasion. Congratulations, Molly. ? Edra and Kyle will be making presentations to the Oklahoma City administrators this week. The goal is to implement more of the Pro Team and Teacher Cadet classes. ? Ponca City High School will add a Teacher Cadet program to the schedule next year. ? Jana Jean, Capitol Hill Cadet teacher and several of her students will join Kyle and Edra in making two presentations at the OEA Zone meeting in Shawnee on April 6th. ? Teacher Cadet training will be held on Friday, April 20, 2001, at the State Regents office. If you would like to attend, please notify Edra. ?
