CALL FOR PRESENTATION PROPOSALS DUE AUGUST 28TH
Fall 2015 OACADA Conference
Friday, September 11, 2015
Northeastern State University, Broken Arrow, OK

The Oklahoma Academic Advising Association Steering Committee invites you to submit a presentation proposal for the Fall 2015 State Conference. We have two time lengths available for presentations - some at 50 minutes in length, and some at 75 minutes.  Presenters are encouraged to use multimedia technology and interactive strategies to share their knowledge and best practices with academic advisors from across the spectrum of higher education institutions in Oklahoma.

For this conference, our theme is
"#AdvisingToday"

Applicable topics should address the "nuts-and-bolts of advising." Examples can include:

Diverse student populations
Using technology
Creative techniques
Balancing student, parent, and administration needs

Please note:

* All presenters must register for the conference so we can determine the appropriate food count. OACADA will waive the conference registration fee for the Lead Presenter only.
* Presenters must arrive to locale 30 minutes prior to presentation (if not attending the conference all day).
* Presenters are responsible for providing all copies and handouts for presentations. OACADA will provide the space and necessary electronics.
