[Oacrao-l] Reporting to the NSLC and NSLDS

Registrar office (me) at UCO.

UCO just sends to the Clearinghouse. It's been that way for over 10 years.

I never see the NSLDS data, but I can see the data the Clearinghouse sends to NSLDS being different from what you send to the Clearinghouse because of rejected data you might send (no SSN, malformed SSN, no address) or just different ways of looking at the data. What kind of differences are you talking about, David.

Subject: [Oacrao-l] Reporting to the NSLC and NSLDS

Greetings, all!

I have three questions to ask of you this fine day :)

Which office at your institution reports enrollment (including withdrawals) as well as completions to either the NSLC or NSLDS?

Do you perform two separate reports (one to each agency) or do you rely on the Clearinghouse to transmit your information to the NSLDS?

Have you ever noted any inconsistencies between the information being submitted to the Clearinghouse and what ends up on file with NSLDS?

Thanks for your time!

David
