At Carl Albert we make copies of all identification cards related to  permanent residence and naturalization. With regard to VA, all VA students must present their DD214 or NOBE to copy and send to VA. Also for Chapter 35 (dependents) we will not file on any student until we've received the Certificate of Eligibility.

Does anyone make copies of the above referenced information to document their student's file?  If not, how do you handle verification that they are in the military, a permanent resident or a naturalized citizen?
