Rogers State University is seeking an experienced leader with energy and vision to serve on a forward-looking enrollment management team as University Registrar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a service-oriented structure, in support of the academic programs of the University. The Registrar has the overall responsibility for the administration and management of the Office of the Registrar. The individual in this position maintains all student records, including enrollment of students; processing the adding and dropping of courses; determining academic status (i.e. probation and suspension); posting of grades; performing degree audits for graduation; determining the President's Honor Rolls; transcripting academic credit from any source. Maintains accurate enrollment data, both computerized and on paper, in the following computer files:  Course file, Student file, Student History file as well as oversees all academic and enrollment reporting to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, as well as other agencies.
The Registrar will interview, select, train and supervise the work of staff; evaluate work performance and provide constructive feedback to employees as appropriate; approve requests for vacation, sick, and other leaves of absence.  The University Registrar collaborates closely with the other units of Enrollment Management (Admissions, and Student Financial Aid) and a range of administrative and academic units.
Thorough knowledge of OSRHE academic policy, federal immigration laws, veteran's affairs policies and procedures is needed.  Experience working in a higher education setting and working with the public is required.
A Bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience is required. A Master's degree with five years of experience is preferred.
