For us, June is much better. September isn't as much about budget restraints as it is about NCAA certifications. We're just swamped that time of year, but June is pretty open for us. You might run the June schedule against WAVES and NCAA Compliance Meetings to make sure you don't conflict.

This is probably not the best time to survey the membership, but I am hoping it isn't too crazy yet and we might get some responses.

The OACRAO executive committee discussed, during our last committee meeting, the idea of moving our front-line workshop from September to June in hopes of increasing participation. I realize that many institutions have been forced to reduce their travel budgets significantly, and therefore this reduction has had a direct impact on attendance. The committee was wondering if this change might allow some to attend that are unable to do so in September.

We are very curious how the membership feels about moving this event to June. If you get a moment, please respond to the list-serve with your thoughts. We don't want to make this change without input from the membership.

Thanks!

Alan
