At the University of Oklahoma, students must be in the Honors College to graduate cum laude, magna cum laude and summa cum laude. Students not in the Honors College, can graduate with distinction or special distinction depending on their gpa. This is through the student's college and each is different. Both honors and distinction is on the diploma. Students can only graduate with one of these. If a student qualifies for both, the student receives honors.

Colleagues,
For those students graduating with honors...do you put any acknowledgement on the diploma? If so, what type and how is the designation made?
Thanks,

Rick
