At ORU we do not have any situations that would directly fall under this category. Some of our service areas (such as the library and student health) will post charges directly onto a student's account if they aren't paid in a timely manner and then it's reflected as a financial hold.

Subject: [Oacrao-l] non-credit and auxiliary

If your campus offers non-credit training courses or auxiliary services (such as a daycare center), are those programs managed/registered/billed through your academic student information system or do they utilize a separate system?

For example: if a student owes money for a non-credit professional development course or to your daycare center, do those areas have the authority to put a hold on the student's account that would restrict enrollment or prevent a transcript being released?

Thanks!
