[Oacrao-l] Electronic Transcripts

At OCCC,  we receive from all of them and are currently in the process of implementing eScript Safe's product to send.

We will not have any EDI functionality to automatically take the electronic file and import it into our ERP (Colleague).  We have the software,  but just not enough partners to make it worth implementing.

We were one of the first in the state,  if not the first,  to implement an OCR imaging system using Hershey Business System's product,  Singularity.   They have since been bought out by Hyland,  but we still use their OnBase product to take the data from transcripts and move it into our system without having to manually enter the data.   We have been doing that in some form or fashion since early to mid 1990's.

Dustin, we receive from both the Clearinghouse and eScrip.  In terms of sending we do that through Transcripts on Demand with eScrip.

Is anyone sending or receiving electronic transcripts currently. If you are sending, what company do you use? If you receive, do you receive from each of the major vendors?
