Hi, Cathy.  We would post for summer based on when the course work was actually completed.  We don't make the student file an new application so long as it is within the same academic year.

Colleagues

What is your campus best practice or rule of thumb concerning conferring degrees for incomplete grades that come after the preceding semester begin?  Example:  student completed all requirements with exception of one course he/she received an incomplete grade on for Spring 2014.  The incomplete grade was submitted during the Summer 2014 semester once coursework was completed.  Would your institution confer degree for Spring 2014 or Summer 2014?
