[Oacrao-l] Conferring of degree

It would depend when the "I" grade was changed.  We give them four weeks to submit all transcripts, grade changes etc.  If the change was done within that time period, they would be spring.  If not, their application would be moved and they would be conferred for summer or fall dependent on the date of the change in grade.

Colleagues

What is your campus best practice or rule of thumb concerning conferring degrees for incomplete grades that come after the preceding semester begin?  Example:  student completed all requirements with exception of one course he/she received an incomplete grade on for Spring 2014.  The incomplete grade was submitted during the Summer 2014 semester once coursework was completed.  Would your institution confer degree for Spring 2014 or Summer 2014?
