The question deals with International admissions and we're trying to see what others are doing. See Below. 1) Does the your College/University use the General Certificate of Education (GCE) for admissibility of International students. 2) If so, by what criteria do you use? Some schools award credit for the Advanced level GCE. I am needing to know the grades that you require the student to attain for admission and/or credit when taking advanced level courses (or other levels). It shows that grade of E is the lowest passing grade. Please help! Thank you in advance for any help you can give. I desperately need input. Among other things, we included several frequently asked questions to address the recently approved revisions to the In-State/Out-of-State Status of Enrolled Students policy, which were made based on Senate Bill 138/the Veterans Access, Choice, and Accountability Act of 2014. I am needing to know the grades that you require the student to attain for admission and/or credit when taking advanced level courses (or other levels). It shows that grade of E is the lowest passing grade. Please help! Thank you in advance for any help you can give. I desperately need input. I realize that some of you may not see this message until Monday as your institution is closed today. I hold no bitterness towards those of you whose institution follows such a practice :). I assume there may be, on rare occasion, situations where you may waive the need for a transfer student to submit a transcript (unofficial or official). Do you ever allow that decision to be made by the student? In other words, the student is asking that they not be required to obtain a transcript from a particular college (for whatever reason) regardless of whether or not they repeat coursework that has already been completed. In either situation, how does that factor into SAP determination? I'm pretty sure I know how you will respond, but I was asked to inquire.....so I am :). Have a great weekend everyone!
